SC/BC CELL

The SC/BC cell has been established for the welfare of SC/BC students of our institution as per the instructions of UGC/Stats Governments from time to time. The cell also functions as a Grievances Redressal Cell for the grievances of SC/BC students of UG and PG courses. The cell also performs any other work assigned from time to time to promote higher education among these two communities suffering from economic, social and educational deprivations. The main objective of the SC/BC cell is to ensure proper implementation of various schemes of UGC/Government of India/State Government. To be an institution of excellence in higher education that continually responds to the changing social realities through the development and application of knowledge towards creating social equality in the society that promote and protects the dignity, equality, social justice and human rights for all with special emphasis on marginalised communities with following objective-

• To implement the reservation policy for SC/BC students.
• Collect data regarding the implementation of the policies in respect of admission & analysis of the data showing the trends and changes towards fulfilling the required quota.
• To take such follow up measures for achieving the objectives and targets laid down for the purpose by the Govt. of India/UGC.
• To implement and monitor the State Government Reservation Policy in the institution and effective implementation of the polices, programmes and schemes of the Government.
